‘Here We Are, the Living’ is an immersive audio story about the inner workings of a holistic funeral home, the people who care for the living and the dead, and the paths we take in the face of mortality.

The podcast is a poetic map of Life Rites, guided by its founder Victoria Spence and her team of funeral directors and death doulas, florists, artists and workers. Over 8 episodes, the podcast also becomes a virtual map for understanding dying processes, death care and grief; for reclaiming lost knowledge and language, and for empowering people to understand their rights and rites at the end of life.
